FACE TRAINING SESSIONS
Twynham Primary School has purchased a 12 month FACE Membership to allow parents access to all FACE training sessions (usually £24), free of charge.
There are 16 regular talks, which are on a four-weekly rotation, and can be accessed here. The current timetable can be found below.
Please see email dated 10th September for full details on how to book.
Links to recordings of the talks are available for 48 hours after the session. If you cannot make the live session, book on and then email info@facefamilyadvice.co.uk to request the recording link.
PARENT WORKSHOPS
We are pleased to announce that two parent workshop (run by BCP Skills and Learning) has been organised, as follows:
- Understanding your Child's Behaviour - Monday 17th November, 1pm - 3pm
- Autism Awareness - Monday 23rd November, 1pm - 3pm
Both workshops will take place at Twynham Primary School and are free of charge. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Each workshop is limited to 20 parents and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If this figure is exceeded, further sessions will be scheduled at a later date. These workshops can only run if 9 or more parents have signed up for each one - if this figure is not reached a week before the workshop, the session will unfortunately be cancelled. You will be advised of any changes as soon as possible.
If you would like to attend, please click here (before Monday 10th November) to secure your place(s).
STORMBREAK AT TPS

We have recently launched Stormbreak at Twynham Primary School.
Stormbreak is a charity (registered in England and Wales) that supports young children’s mental health through movement, equipping them with sustainable skills and coping strategies to thrive during the complex demands of growth into adult life.
Each Stormbreak lasts between 5 to 15 minutes and involves movement and associated conversation and discussion around mental health. At school, we use a mixture of pre-recorded videos and stormbreaks which are delivered by our school staff.
Stormbreak is something that can also be completed at home, as a family, and this PDF contains all the information you should need. It is easy to set up your own parent account, and this video explains how to do it.
