MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING
We would like to say a huge thank you to every one of you who supported our recent Macmillan Coffee Morning and Cake Sale.
What began as an idea to show our support for Mr Davies turned into the biggest cake sale TPS has EVER hosted. The children baked and served with such pride, and the hall was filled with the most impressive display of home-baked cakes – from the fiercely contested Lemon Bake Off to the spectacular raffle cake. THANK YOU!
Thanks to your generosity and involvement, together we raised an incredible £1,720 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
At the end of the day, Mr Davies summed it up perfectly when he said:
“I stood back and just absorbed what I was seeing. Being in that moment, it was quite magical.”
Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support. It honestly meant the world to us.
READING FOR PLEASURE
It’s always a joy to see our pupils taking every opportunity to enjoy a good book – even out in the playground!
At Twynham Primary, Reading for Pleasure is at the heart of our school ethos, and moments like this remind us how much our children truly love to read.

SCHOOL NURSE DROP IN SESSION
We are pleased to let you know that Fiona, from the Dorset Healthcare Nursery Nurse Team, will be at TPS for a parent drop in session on Monday 6th October between 8.45am and 9.45am.
There is no need to book; places are on a first come, first served basis on the day.
She can offer advice on a range of topics including sleep, toileting, eating and general parenting. She cannot diagnose general medical ailments (rashes etc.) and the sessions are for parents only.

SOUNDSTORM CREATIVE ENSEMBLE
SoundStorm’s Creative Ensemble sessions are returning on 11th October 2025! Please see the attached flyer for details and to apply for a place on one, some or all of the sessions. Sessions are open to all musicians aged 10-17 of any ability on any instrument including voice.
